(4,070 posts)This wave of storms has pretty much been relegated to the back burner. Colleague who tracks weather said there was 6 hail reported in IL days ago. Cant imagine experiencing that
Under normal circumstances, it takes years to recover from weather disasters with the effects felt decades afterwards. Were not in normal circumstances now. Our military and debt service payments along with reduced revenue from tax cuts makes helping these folks far more difficult. And with climate change and rising costs for materials, this situation wont get any better.
