The inequality I see everyday is really bothering me.

How can anyone think working 40 hours a week and still qualifying for food stamps acceptable?

How can anyone call themselves a Christian and turn their backs on so many people who are struggling?

How can anyone think that such a vast income gap is a good thing for any society?

While no country is perfect, it's getting harder to want to live in America any longer.

Only income above $15,750 ($17,750 for seniors) is taxed. But if your rent in San Francisco is 36000/year (and that’s VERY low for SF) it’s ridiculous to be paying taxes on such a low salary.
Make the average (or median, I’m not picky) annual rent and groceries for the region the standard deduction.
People should be able to afford their lives.
