KC-135 refueling aircraft crashes in Iraq.

In a statement, US Central Command said it was carrying out rescue efforts after the US KC-135 refueling aircraft went down. The second aircraft landed safely.

“The incident occurred in friendly airspace during Operation Epic Fury, and rescue efforts are ongoing,” the statement said, using the name of the US operation against Iran.

stated that the other aircraft involved was also a KC-135.
No idea which information is correct, just conflicting stuff out there right now.
Minimum crew is 3, could be up to 6 if I'm remembering correctly.
Very sad, likely no survivors

Tailgated the flue. Hoped to get his pilot license.
Thinking about him.

F15s shot down due to friendly fire.

Battle plans leaked on signal to a journalist.

Kc135s lost (when was the last time that happened?)

Photographers who might make Kegsbreath look bad banned from press pool.

This is what you get when Fox News stooges take over crucial defense positions after a loyalty purge.

Incompetence writ large.

we give our guys a little more credit than that.
When you move man and machine on this scale, things can and do happen. Trump isn't operating this stuff, it's specialized enlisted men, and they are also now dead. Let's have a little respect.

How do you even read disdain for the troops into my original post? Spell it out. Because it isn’t there.

But I agree with the poster you replied to. He (or she) wasn't attacking the soldiers.
