Hmm ... just reading between the lines in his video today ... 3 minutes into vid. I was kinda taken back by this big known company in (Local ? Cali.) ... advertising and supporting Keith Edwards in this video. Most of the podcasters, left leaning I listen to from day to day try to state an independent nature to their content which I pretty much agree to .... and just as they say depend on donations, 'like's' not influnced otherwise by etc etc ... bla bla bla.
DU no exception, we get a 'star' for a monatary donation to cut out these advertisments. Maybe just maybe DU should being my favorite and for me most important site on the internet should take into considerations a short advertisment to the rest of us (evern paid members) a short advertisment from some "proven" bigger left leaning compaines to spread the word of our insights.
Such an increase in revenue to DU could open up more possibilty's to DU to expand our identity and to message further. Just celebrated my 21 year aniversary on DU 2 days ago. Been involved in Photography, Video, etc ... my whole life. Now Retired. But not from fighting the fight for our planet. I'll never quit that. I would be pleased to help out in this endevor, if not just putting this idea out there for someone to take up the fight. And as they say timming is everything, how much time we got? It's up to us. Planting a seed. Maybe nothing will come of this, but thoughts appreciated?
