Dentists in PA convicted of massive fraud

One is facing 400-800 years in prison.

https://americanbazaaronline.com/2026/03/11/shallow-fakes-what-genai-teaches-us-about-our-voices-476624/

I had posted this when they were indicted.

https://www.justice.gov/archives/opa/pr/dental-practice-owners-charged-fraud-and-rico-conspiracy

If you have the time, absolutely worth reading.
Punch line is that one of the brothers wanted to go to his in-law’s funeral in India, the judge refused after the prosecutor said that the defendant was a flight risk and the defendant threatened the prosecutor. Bad idea…locked up with bail revoked for months before the trial.

And then there’s the visa fraud with fake degrees and universities.

All I can say as a dentist who struggled to make ends meet my entire career: fuck these fucking fuckers - they are getting what they deserve. Shithead motherfucking amoral crooks.

And oh yes, did I mention that they were utilizing dental implants that were not approved for humans?

Fuck them again.

How can we be sure that what comes from cadavers has truly been tested. As more dental practices are owned by equity firms, etc., I do not trust them to not used untested materials to save money.

anytime "Equity" companies are involved, you can be sure they've robbed the business and substituted subpar materials in whatever it is they are building. That's one of the reasons I look with trepidation to these "business" starships. Space has always equaled danger and death, but I think we're piling it on by trusting multimillion dollar companies to do the work. Of course, I'm still idealistic enough to see Space as Science... not as dollar signs. Sure puts me on the other end of the country's spectrum.

I once watched a legal show that dealt with all kinds of cancer arising in people who had recently had cadaver transplants. Seems the cadaver was riddled with cancer, but no did any checks or tests on the cadaver to ensure it was disease free before using its parts. And it wasn't the first time the "Equity" company in this episode had done this. Going back, they found dozens of dead people who had received transplants guaranteed by this company. That episode really made an impact on me.

and it has haunted me to this day. My sister had about $30,000 worth of dental work done. It started with an individual dentist, he then sold his practice to a chain, and every time she went in there were different dentists. She also had bone grafts. Some things had to be redone.

It took a few years and at the end, she was diagnosed with stage 4 lung cancer. It was everywhere in her bones and most organs. She had no warning until one day the bone in her arm broke. She was active and healthy, saw her doctor regularly, and had quit smoking 35 years before. She died a month after the diagnosis. Her GP was shocked.

I don't know that the use of cadaver materials for the bone grafts caused it but I can't shake the possibility. Corporate/private equity takeovers of dental offices is done to make money for investors so I will never trust them.

Of your wife. I, too would be living with the idea in the back of my head constantly. I hesitate to say this but I think the equity company that bought up most of the vets in my little city cost me one of the most living cats I ever rescued. Starting today, I'm on a 3 day memorial for him. Losing him like I did just ripped my heart to pieces. he ended up dying on St Patty's day, I ache and long to have him in my arms cocking his head tilt and looking at me with the most loyal loving eyes. Tho the vet I had tried her best with whatever restrictions she was under, I can't help but feel they just saw an old street cat who wasn't going to bring them in much money. Not one of those equity partners understands how bad my heart hurts each Mar 15, im sure. But they've made trying to get a quick appt and checking pets in and out as quickly as possible their brand. Problem is thete are no more independent vets.... just like we have trouble finding good doctors now that the equity group closed down 2 hospitals and an ER in our town.

I'm so careful with my cats now... and the dog. I research everything and im over the vets shoulder whenever I have to take one in.

You can imagine how I feel about bone grafts, etc.

They used to call this a first world problem but I beg to differ. This the kind of corruption that's known in third world countries... which we now are... thanks to Bezos, Thiel, and Musk.

I am sorry about the loss of your friend.
Who could have imagined that we would have to be suspicious of our doctors, dentists, and vets now.
The dismantling continues every day now.

If they made campaign donation to the TRUMP party.
I only say this because the 12 Trump pardoned in March.
Trump pardons wipe nearly $2 billion in victim repayment and taxpayer recovery for Medicare and tax fraud, and more
