Yea, in that way. No ambiguity at all.
And if you are wondering if Kilmeade showed some backbone and rebuked the comment then you would be absolutely wrong.
The sitting president of the U5 said that Black and Hispanic people were genetically predisposed to violence and inferior.
This guy and all his bootlicking sycophants can get fucked.

(31,869 posts)However, the way I read this is that he has, for a very long time, confused Asylum Seekers coming into the USA with people from insane asylums ( like we had before Ronny Raygun closed most of them and created the homeless problem that is still with us, not that those places didn't need to be reformed = see One Flew over the Cuckoo's Nest - but those places existed when Trump was a teen . Not to mention that he thinks insanity is genetic, which is something he worries about constantly given his family history.
This continued misunderstanding of the term is actually a sign of dementia and stupidity... and that worries me even more than racism ( well, they are all bad so... )

(25,755 posts)in Germany and ran a brothel in Alaska, so if Trump wants to talk behavioral genetics....
OTOH, consider someone as brilliant and compassionate as Bobby Kennedy, Sr. and his namesake son, and behavioral genetics falls apart.
That reminds me that I recently heard 2 different programs on NPR about a possible association between diseases and dementia in later life. Some studies indicate that people who have had several vaccinations in their lifetime show fewer cases of dementia as they age than people who avoided vaccinations. Some of the diseases suspected of contributing to dementia are chicken pox and covid. One study indicated that dementia statistics are lower in adults who have had a shingles vaccine.
Maybe RFK Jr. should get some of those vaccines ASAP.

(9,320 posts)it's white people (and especially white men.)
There are people alive today with Neanderthal DNA, and people alive today with Denisovan DNA. But, essentially, H. Sapiens eliminated those other too. Why? In my opinion, because we were the most violent.
Neanderthal simply means the Neander valley. The Neander is in Germany. Denisovans were in Asia.
But I really doubt anyone is genetically disposed to violence. Culturally is a different thing - but again, that would point straight to white men.

(9,476 posts)Despite the archaic reflections on "noble savages," humans have been killing each viciously since we first discovered we could wield stones as weapons. Whether it is Meso-Americans, Gauls, Mongols, or modern Rwandans, the record is clear that homo sapiens contains savagery.
Hell, look at our closest primate cousins. Chimpanzees are brutal to each other.
