Now, after a fortnight of war, with US and Israeli airstrikes killing hundreds as they hit residential blocks, shops, fuel depots and even a school, the mood is changing.
They are also lying! Like the regime has been lying to us, said Amir*, a student at the University of Tehran. You are all worse than each other.
Shitler screws up everything he touches. And a regime change was probably never on Netanyahoo's mind. Only dead Iranians. Didn't matter who they were. And yes, I did spell Netanyahoo correctly.

(23,950 posts)But I'll be brave and ask anyway.
Is there any general assumption that can be made about Iranian-Americans and, say, Cuban-Americans and Venezuelan-Americans as far as wealth prior to coming here?
I realize no group is a monolith, but when we kept hearing about Venezuelans celebrating in the streets of the US, and the same for Iranians and probably soon Cubans, I wondered if they didn't have loved ones left behind in harm's way. Why else would they celebrate the danger to civilians posed by these invasions? I understand their desire and the desire of Iranians still in Iran to topple the repressive regime (same for other countries), but to celebrate attacks which inevitably kill civilians puzzles me.
Do they tend to be wealthier and thus when they left they could bring all of their loved ones with them and thus they can view attacks in a more detached way, focused on getting rid of the regime regardless of casualties? And do the wealthier immigrants tend to support the GOP?
Again, there may not really be an answer to this because Google wasn't really of much help and perhaps it's truly an individual thing, but I do wonder if there are any common factors any of you may be aware of.
Thanks in advance.

(12,175 posts)Driving the Iranians back to supporting their regime (after encouraging uprising) and turning off support at home with insane policies that dont help anyone but the Epstein Class.
If theyd hoped for a rally around the flag effect, they got it ... but only in Iran!

(32,047 posts)Bibi wants to wipe Iran off the face of the earth and now he convinced the United States to take up his cause.
The only way for Krasnov to get out of this war is to surrender and leave because Bibi isn't stopping any time soon and neither is Iran.
The longer this war drags on, the longer Hormuz is shut down, increases Iran's chances of winning. We are spending a billion dollars a day so Krasnov needs more money for the war. Our military budget is more than the interest on our debt, and he wants more.
Iran is shipping more oil to China now than it did before the war.
Russia is helping Iran target Americans and training them on drone warfare, meanwhile, Comrade Krasnov has removed sanctions on Russian oil.
Krasnov, better get out and try Cuba.
