No bottom to KRASNOV: FDR *off* the dime (for a year), outrage and barf KRASNOV on the $1 coin.

A symbol of peace was cut from US dimes. Is it a message from Trump?

Now that coins featuring new, temporary designs to commemorate the United States' 250th birthday have been in circulation for some time, some Americans are raising their eyebrows at one coin in particular: the dime. ....

The dime, called the "Emerging Liberty Dime," will temporarily replace the coin featuring former President Franklin D. Roosevelt. Absent from the back of the coin is the olive branch representing peace, which did not go unnoticed by many social media users. Renewed attention came amid President Donald Trump's war against Iran. ....

Usually in the seal, the eagle clutches an olive branch and arrows in its talons, but in the new dime the eagle holds just arrows and has an empty second claw. ....

... He (Eric David Custer, medallic artist) left out the olive branch as a symbol that the colonists had not yet reached peace. The eagle's open claw shows that they were waiting for it, he told Spotlight PA.

Trump's influence on coins is being felt in other ways. The Treasury Department is planning to also unveil a $1 coin featuring the president's face, breaking with tradition not to have coins depicting living presidents.

Donald Trump wants his face on a $1 coin. Will it happen?

.... The Treasury Department is preparing to print President Donald Trump's face on a $1 coin commemorating the 250th anniversary of the Declaration of Independence. Quarters honoring national heroes from the abolitionist, suffragette and civil rights eras have been scrapped and will be replaced by the nation's early White pioneers and revolutionaries. ....

Members of the Commission of Fine Arts, all of whom were recently appointed by Trump, weighed three classical designs featuring the president’s face at their Jan. 22 meeting, despite legal questions over the coinage.

They voted to recommend a side profile of Trump, so long as the president approves. One of the commissioners noted it had “a statesman-like quality to the quaff of the hair.” ....

And dollar coins? People never liked them unless they were in Vegas.

I hate the idea, too, but how many of us used cash in the last week? I use it at the weed store, that's it.

Especially since TSF personally weighed in--not only about deleting FDR, but also the sign of peace (Olive Branch) on the back. (Founding Father's time symbolism, bullshit. He's opting to do this to show his own personal feelings about Peace symbols and Peace in general).
