A shock to the system of weather!

on Thursday in northern Arizona, it was 90 degrees! Now I’m in central Iowa in a blizzard and shut down until roads improve! And with the wind gusting to 50 to 60 mph and the snow, the windchill could be as low as -20 by morning! Damn groundhog! Oh wait, by Thursday back in the 80’s in some parts of the Midwest! This weather has been as crazy as our dear Grand Poopy Pants! Ok, he is much more crazier than the weather!

The temperatures have gone from one extreme to the other, but the real issue has been the freaking wind! I've never seen winds like I've seen over the last year. Destructive and scary.

Usually Seattle gets most of our snow from January to mid-February, when we get a few inches and it all melts off in a few days. All of our cherry and plum trees were already in full bloom.

Nighttime low temps have ranged from hovering around freezing on Friday night and are now predicted to be at the mid-50's by Wednesday.

It's just another effect of our global climate weirding. I don't see it getting any better, any time soon. Plan for your local weather to suffer wilder swings as the planet's climate warms.
