(13,320 posts)And it worked for awhile but cancer came back. He had problems since his 50's though, bypass operation, and a different type cancer earlier so his body wasn't as strong by time lung cancer came along in his 70's.
Hopefully they are able to get the cancer and give her treatment after to keep it away.
I have a neighbor with pancreatic cancer thought she only had a few months left then one of the chemo's started working and took away the tumors and now she only has to take pills and might get 15 more years. You never know. This is why it makes me so mad Trump took away cancer research.
Thank god they are still doing some without government.
