5. Mexico - We are going to help the people of Cuba, as we have always.

Mexico sent over 800 tons of humanitarian aid to Cuba on Sunday and has pledged that the aid will continue. In her daily press conference on Monday, Mexican President Claudia Sheinbaum affirmed that the aid shipment is part of the historic solidarity of the Mexican people with the Cuban people. President Sheinbaum also condemned Trump's executive order which imposes sanctions on countries that sell oil to Cuba. “Because you can’t strangle a people like that.” President Sheinbaum stressed that all diplomatic resources are being taken to try to avoid sanctions and resume oil shipments to the island.
