Joshua Haymes & Brooks Potteiger (Pete Hegseth's pastor) pray imprecatory psalms against James Talarico:

Joshua Haymes & Brooks Potteiger (Pete Hegseth's pastor) pray imprecatory psalms against James Talarico: "I pray that God kills him. Ultimately, that means killing his heart and raising him up to new life in Christ ... If it would not be within God's will to do so, stop him by any means necessary."

I had a pretty good idea via context but still a new word for me.

Imprecatory refers to the act of invoking curses or praying for evil/judgment to befall someone, often rooted in biblical psalms that call for divine vengeance against enemies. These prayers, or "imprecations," serve as appeals for justice, acknowledging God's sovereignty over evil while allowing believers to express raw, emotional pain
