John Fetterman saves Markwayne Mullin's nomination to lead DHS

John Fetterman saves Markwayne Mullin’s nomination to lead DHS

Sen. John Fetterman (D-Pa.) crossed party lines to advance his colleague Markwayne Mullin’s nomination to lead the Department of Homeland Security in a nail-biting committee vote Thursday.

Senate Homeland Security Committee Chairman Rand Paul (R-Ky.) voted against reporting Mullin (R-Okla.) to the full Senate, but Fetterman voted in favor of sending the pick to the floor for a final vote.

All 13 other committee members voted along party lines, making the final tally 8-7 in Mullin’s favor.

Fetterman will lose his paying job in two years and his new republican friends will not help him.

understand this. WTF is wrong with Fetterman? It's one thing to want to be known as someone who can reach across the aisle, but use some better judgement for fecks sake.

He was also insulting HIS OWN PARTY'S SENATORS on a podcast, saying they had TDS and the GOP liked him.

If he votes for the SAVE Act, like he has been hinting, he needs to just cross the aisle.

Why would anyone think he wouldn’t? He said he was going to last week.

“Give a guy a chance” were his words.

Who cares how obviously unqualified he is? Who cares if he’s an open fascist?

Let’s try it, what could go wrong?

He does shit just to piss off Democrats. He finds it funny.

Everybody was pulling for him, and he just blew all that good will to hell.

Goodbye, John. You are no Democrat.
