A restaurant in Arkansas told the state’s MAGA governor she wasn’t welcome there.

Gov. Sarah Huckabee Sanders, who previously served as a White House press secretary during Donald Trump’s first presidential term, said she was asked to leave a restaurant called The Croissanterie in Little Rock last week by the eatery’s owners.

“Last week I was having lunch with two other moms at a restaurant when the owner approached a member of the State Police Executive Protection Detail and said my presence made their employees feel threatened and told us to leave,” Sanders wrote in a post on X on Thursday, responding to a story about the matter by The Daily Wire editor-in-chief Brent Scher.

“Arkansans are known for their warm hospitality, and while that restaurant didn’t meet that standard, my administration will continue to focus on lifting Arkansans up, not tearing others down,” Sanders concluded.

One of the restaurant’s employees responded to the initial Daily Wire story, stating that the eatery did not regret its decision.

Whether the average person should judge others by the company they keep is up for debate, I guess, but the stench of Trump is like driving several miles down the road after passing a skunk you DID NOT HIT, and the smell is still in your car vents.

Huckabee's go-to line, when she was press secretary, was "THE PRESIDENT HAS ALREADY ADDRESSED THAT," and I can't remember a single time when she said that when he ACTUALLY ADDRESSED IT.

She was never well liked in that position, and sure...she somehow got elected to Governor...but her "legacy" follows her, and she's never going to be greeted with open arms everywhere she goes.

8. By the restaurant's statements, that isn't true

She and her entourage came in to eat and were seated. They were served their food, finished it, paid for the meal, then stayed at the table. The restaurant has a 90 minute time limit, after which if you have finished your meal they will ask you to leave if others are waiting to be seated.

If there is a conflict between the restaurant's account and that of Sarah Hucksterbee Slanders, I default to her being a lying sack of shit.

DECADES ago, we were in Chinatown, San Francisco, in some little hole in the wall restaurant.

Within seconds of eating our last bite of food, a waitress came to the table, took the teapot, and poured tea all over the table top and started scrubbing it down with a cloth. She said to us, in a loud voice, "YOU GO NOW."
