You read that right. The US is currently bombing them, but we may lift sanctions on them selling oil to reduce the price.

I’m not a military strategist, but this sounds insane.

Wouldn’t this allow them to earn more revenue to defend themselves and launch attacks on us?

It begs the question, why not just stop bombing them?
