Pee Brain Hegseth claims that one of the father who son killed was killed in the Iran said to finish this.
The father pushed back and said it never was true!
Another, walking into a wall and just hope no one else is listening propaganda crap!
They just keep looking for a new lie to run with! I wonder if GOD(Trump) told Pee Brain to say that lie? Trump has always had this lies in his back pocket.

(15,571 posts)Their rationale for that war was built on a systematic campaign of lies, fully exposed here at DU. I will never forgive Bush and his neocons for using the trauma of 9/11 to manipulate the grief, fear, anger, and patriotism of the American people to pursue their delusional ambitions of empire.
I expected Democratic leaders like John Kerry -- who rose to prominence as a veteran against the Vietnam War -- to speak truth to power against launching that disastrous war of choice.
I was heartbroken when Kerry and other Dem leaders like Joe Biden and Hillary Clinton voted for the Iraq War Resolution in October 2002. I vowed that none of them would EVER get my vote in a Democratic primary. I held to that vow until 2020, when I believed Joe Biden had the best chance to beat Trump.

(8,803 posts)Seems likely that a lot of the liars & cheats Trump put in his Cabinet are fine with lying in order to keep Trump off their backs. They are living high off the hog and don't want to lose their cushy jobs.

(4,108 posts)... it would have been a father with tears in his eyes saying, "Sir, please blah, blah, blah!"
These people are beyond despicable. It's almost as if they're trying to out-do each other, and laughing their asses off with each fabrication more cold-hearted, malicious, and deceitful than the last.
They're flooding the zone, as they say, trying to provoke someone into a violent response that would be all they'd need to justify imposing martial law, which the South End of a Northbound Yak has threatened several times, may he choke on a Big Mac.

(9,901 posts)He didn't explicitly say this man said it. He just implied it by attributing the sentiment to "all" of the parents he talked to. Hegseth definitely lied but he didn't explicitly name this man.

(179,226 posts)Hegseth said "family after family" of service members killed urged the administration to not stop until the job is done." The father said he appreciated the compassion that Hegseth and Trump showed him during their visit.

What I heard through tears, through hugs, through strength and through unbreakable resolve was the same from family after family. They said, Finish this. Honor their sacrifice. Do not waver. Do not stop until the job is done, Hegseth said.
One of the people he met at Dover Air Force Base in Delaware was Charles Simmons. His 28-year-old son, Tech. Sgt. Tyler H. Simmons, was among the six crew members killed when their refueling plane crashed in Iraq last week.
Simmons recalled his exchange differently.
I cant speak for the other families. When he spoke to me, that was not something we talked about, he told NBC News in an interview Thursday.
Simmons said he spoke separately to Hegseth and President Donald Trump at Dover and was grateful for the warmth that both men showed him.
