But I guess that's redundant, since the thread title already pointed out he supported Trump.

Where he would show random clips of Walker Texas Ranger. It was pretty funny out of context.

Years later I found out he was a Republican asshole.

In the 90s I took my two sons on a DART rail ride to the West End and to a fancy restaurant there. One of my sons noticed sitting a couple of tables away was Chuck Norris and three other people. My son was beside himself in wanting to get his autograph. (His twin brother couldn't give a crap about Norris) I worked in TV then and met well-known people all the time and the one thing you just didn't do was ask them for autographs.

Finally, he couldn't stand it any longer and my son asked me if I had some paper and a pen. I gave him one of my business cards for the TV station and figured he wouldn't blow my son off it he knew his old man worked in the media.

As it turned out, Norris never looked at the front of the card and was gracious enough to give him his autograph.

I guess I'll text my son and see if he still has it. Maybe it's worth more money (if it is at all) now that Norris is dead.

Even accounting for him being wealthier than average (although I assume not that wealthy given he was never a major box star), getting an extra 24ish years is exceeding his expected life span.

Last night I drank vodka and water, then rum and water, then whisky and water.

I've got a bad hangover now. I've got to stop drinking so much water.

Also, like many, I was into martial arts as a young man. Norris was an icon. Undoubtedly, he is still super popular, even among us Democrats. I consider respecting him to be the classy move.

Growing up in the 70's and 80's wouldn't have been quite the same without some of those classic flicks I loved back then. Another time, for sure.
