But there are plenty who are treating the current decline as the worst they have experienced in their lives…

perhaps there's more that needs to be said, provided here? The title six months' worth' of gains gone in one day w/ a 1% doesn't seem to provide it. Are we missing something here?

Because of the unknown energy markets going forward. Are they destroying infrastructure in the Middle East? Or no. Is fertilizer production and distribution halted? What will low tech countries that rely on basic petro fuels do to run their economies? Vietnam ran out of jet fuel. Who else, or is it an anomaly? As a result of all this, assumptions that were firm are softening. I saw a video that says AI and Tech will be repriced as a result. They've all gone too far too fast, and now we don't know if their bets on AI will pay off. Or if there will be energy to run them.

That's a drop of 4610.67 or 9.2% in just over a month.

The record intraday high was 50512.79 for a drop of 4935.32 so it has dropped 9.8% since that all-time high.

Let's all thank His Majesty for our remarkable DOW over 50000! Right? Right?
No need to probe His past offenses no matter how grievous, just celebrate His amazing works as He reveals them to our undeserving eyes.
