Trump's DHS pick baffled witnesses with tale of bloody helicopter rescue by Jordanian king

President Donald Trump's nominee to lead the Department of Homeland Security has some explaining to do.

Sen. Markwayne Mullin, the Oklahoma Republican tapped to replace Kristi Noem, has spent the last month suggesting he knows what war "smells like" despite never serving a day in uniform. Now, a New York Times investigation has unearthed a story that raised even more questions.

Shortly after joining the Senate Armed Services Committee in 2023, Mullin pulled King Abdullah II of Jordan aside during a closed-door meeting and told him he was a hero because the king once sent his personal helicopter to rescue Mullin and a group of Americans from an unspecified overseas jam.

The more you lie and the more you pretend you’re a “tough guy” (or gal) that’s your ticket to a top job in this horrible regime.

Now they are apologists for both.

Remember that Brian Williams got chased out of numerous jobs for claiming his airplane was under fire.

This guy has invented an entire Rambo: First Blood II scenario in which he's rappelling into enemy territory and they're going to make his stupid ass Secretary of Homeland Security. And they worship a President who very obviously raped teenage girls.

Fucking bozos.

Hero...I mean Zero.

He cowered behind seats in chambers during J6 while others made heroic efforts to keep the chamber safe. What a pitiful, pathetic loser!

Politicians love classified missions
.
Classified missions have the advantage that you cannot talk about them while you brag about them.

(He had honorable service but needed more to brag about.)
,
The Associated Press published a report last week exposing a congressional candidate in Ohio for misrepresenting his military record. JR Majewski, who “presents himself as an Air Force combat veteran who deployed to Afghanistan after the 9/11 terrorist attacks,” did no such thing, according to public records obtained by the AP.
.
They indicate Majewski never deployed to Afghanistan but instead completed a six-month stint helping to load planes at an air base in Qatar, a longtime US ally that is a safe distance from the fighting.
