What's up tonight? Bahrain 747 Royal Flight out of London Stansted nearing Las Vegas

BAH2, https://globe.adsbexchange.com/?icao=894082

I don't know where it's going, or why.

Editrd: not Vegas. The plane has been at 40,000 feet since Manitoba. Someplace in California maybe. Also edited: the plane is coming from London Stansted, not RAF Mildenhall.

It’s a crowdsourced flight tracking tool. The interface is daunting because it presumes a certain level of user knowledge about the flight industry, but it’s a wealth of knowledge about what’s in the air. You remember the guy tracking Musk’s jet? He was using ADS-B to do so.

Could it be us citizens flown home.

I think they closed their airspace about 11 hours ago.

Are US citizens being asked to leave Bahrain? Or, more likely, is Bahrain the point of departure for Americans leaving several countries?

Okay, it's right next to Qatar.

If anyone wants to fly out, they have to fly out in Saudi Arabia (nearest airports). My Girlfriend is a migrant worker in Bahrain.

With a stop for refueling in London. It would have had to leave Bahrain before they closed their airspace.

I think it's about to get real bad over there.

Couple of C130s up the other evening (I’m near the coast). And my partner has said he’s noticed a lot more activity when driving in the countryside (he’s a lorry driver) near Lakenheath and Mildenhall.
