2. My theory is that if this passes,

they will selectively purge women voters in only blue areas so that they all have to re-register but they will leave red areas alone. They will do this very close to the election so there is mass confusion and no way all the purged women will be able to get re-registered in time.

of thinking that far ahead. Also, how would one 'selectively' purge? There are red and blue voters mixed in most states.
