Yes, folks FEMA is in good hands these days
A senior Federal Emergency Management Agency official with a history of violent rhetoric and promoting conspiracy theories says he once teleported to a Waffle House 50 miles away.
Teleporting is no fun, said Gregg Phillips, who leads FEMAs critical Office of Response and Recovery, according to a CNN File report. Its no fun because you dont really know what youre doing. You dont really understand it, its scary, but yet um but so real. And you know its happening, but you cant do anything about it, and so you just go, you just go with the ride. And wow, what just an incredible adventure it all was.
Phillips has a highly consequential job which, FEMA officials said, involves decisions that affect search-and-rescue operations, emergency aid, infrastructure restoration and ultimately distribution of billions of dollars in disaster assistance.

(4,946 posts)Shalhoub's character (often shown having the munchies) is suddenly, involuntarily whisked away from earth by a space pod.
The following is from my AI search:
"That was a hell of a thing" is a memorable line spoken by Fred Kwan (played by Tony Shalhoub) in the 1999 sci-fi comedy Galaxy Quest. It is often cited as a meta-acknowledgment of the films quality and as a nod to the cast's bizarre experience, sometimes referenced by fans.
Key Details About the Line:
Context: Fred says this after experiencing a tense or, in his own relaxed perspective, wild moment while traveling in a space pod, as noted in IMDb's quotes page.
Significance: The line is often highlighted in discussions about the film's witty, character-driven humor.
