The only time I saw any possible signs of violence was at a Feb. 2017 protest (my 3rd protest) during the "Investigate tRump" protest regarding the Russian input and interference in the 2016 election. This was 1 month after the largest mass protest in US history...the Women's March 2017!

I was standing near the public speakers up front (as I usually do so I can hear them) and two assholes with megaphones and foghorns (I think that's what they are called) trying to drown out the speakers' voices. It pissed me off a lot so I was focused on them throughout the protest. Eventually one of the speakers (a council person for the city) called for the San Diego police to do something. This was when I first learned what the Proud Boys were (they apparently came down from LA just to disrupt this protest) and the difference between the police and the sheriffs. The sheriffs were pro-Proud Boy while the police did their job. I went right up to them while this was happening since I was not afraid but was interested.

Other from that the only nasty feedback at all was from 2018 and it was from old tourists in tour buses passing through the streets as thousands of marchers walked with their signs. The senior citizens were vile and disgusting. That was interesting.

When the Hands Off protest in May 2025 ( the biggest one before the June 14th, 2025 No Kings or the ever bigger Oct. 18th, 2025 No Kings) was attended by tons of senior citizens I knew the tides had turned. When Project 2025 came after them personally (healthcare and social security) they finally changed their tune. Forget about women's rights, immigration, gun control, climate change, etc. When issues don't directly effect a person in the USA they normally do not give a shit. Take a look at the new views regarding "food/gas prices" increasing.

Most Americans only care about anything is when it directly effects their nice little life...that is why American voters continue to make the same choices, decade after decade. Dems are only elected to come in and clean up the harm made by the GOP and afterwards everyone forgets it and they continue to make the same mistake. American voters are dumber than dirt. They have the memory of a gnat. They are ignorant and want to remain that way. Americans NEVER learn from their mistakes and it has been like this since RAYGUN. I am no longer a proud American. I am no longer a patriot. I am embarrassed to be an American at this point.
