What they're not telling you, we're going to be facing high fuel prices, and high inflation, for years, even if we pull

The longer we stay in this war the more oil infrastructure in the Middle East is destroyed. We blow up their oil processing facilities, their oil shipping facilities, then Iran blows up the same, in Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, Yemen, etc. etc. It took years, decades to build up all this infrastructure, it will take years to rebuild it, a process that can't start until the war stops. In the meantime we'll be paying the price in high fuel prices and high inflation. This could very well destabilize not just our economy, but the global economy.

Also point out that the US oil companies profits aren't being spent to help Americans in any way. When Red states start having their small towns dry up remind them that they voted for this.

There's potential for one of those weird Aesop fables lurking in here, but it hasn't happened yet. Now humanity has to adapt to changing circumstances and obvious evidence.

I saw $6.50 a gallon hi-test where I live; I paid $5.25 at Costco a few days ago. I stopped at a well-known "low price" station yesterday, and it was $5.57 a gallon for regular. People were lined up to buy it.

Thanks, Republicans!

It will take years to refill, putting upward pressure on prices on top of reduced pumping from damaged equipment.

Jerome Powell said there is no job creation occurring. GDP was anemic in 4th quarter 2025 and AI is resulting in thousands of tech layoffs plus increased maximizing of consumer credit has been occurring.

Oil price surge causing higher costs for food and consumer goods could easily tip us into recession.
