Why Trump has been doomed in business, politics, and his personal life.

Take Robert Mueller. He passed yesterday and Trump is publicly gloating.

Trump never accepted the Godfather Axiom of "It's nothing personal; it's business."

I had a partner in my law office. We'd go to court and she had such animus for the adversary counsel. Hated her. Not me. It was court. I even made friends with the adversary counsel.

It's over a decade and she still brings it up.

With Trump, it's part of his ego where he can't accept that he can't win all the time. And when someone like Mueller has bested him, that man becomes a target of eternal ire.

My father was a lot like Trump.

I went to Court to observe for one of my paralegal courses and the two sides were both arguing fiercely and objecting and seemed like they were ready to come to blows. At the end of the day, I got on the elevator with them and they were talking like best friends! "Hey, Jim, long time no see. How's the family? What's new?" There was absolutely no hint of the animosity that had just gone on inside that Courtroom. I was shocked but later I realized they were merely advocating for their clients and it was nothing personal. It was just their job.
