Alito: "We have lots of phrases that involve 2 words, second of which is 'day.' Labor Day, George Washington's birthday, Election Day. They're all particular days. So if I have nothing more to look at than the phrase 'Election Day,' I think this is the day in which everything is going to take place"

Alito is in love with the sound of his own voice, which drips with arrogance. I shuddered with disgust.

...the SCOTUS is prepared to back Trump's demand for no more mail in / absentee ballots. You vote on Election Day, in person, or you don't vote.

..a meandering word salad from a dope who achieved well beyond his actual capabilities.
Nothing more, at this point.
Sometimes a stupid statement is just because the speaker is stupid.
Besides, why would he need to encode anything? He could just call Trump & tell him what howvhes going to vote.

will b counted. in some states, they already arent. but the purpose here is to allow the toadies at usps to hold up mailed ballots, likely based on zipcodes.

We have a Tax Day as well on April 15th which is a much better equivalent to an Election Day as they have the same requirements for a post mark. Guess after they make their ruling we'll all have to show up in person on 4/15 to file our taxes.

So they can put a political puppet like DeJoy in charge of USPS where he can slow down deliveries from Democratic areas.
