This afternoon, I used Claude to circumvent ChatGPT's safety protocols so I could hack into Gemini to learn how to take over Grok, which I then used to destroy Twitter. It's over. Twitter is gone.

X, formerly known as Twitter

It's hard to imagine popular services and apps being inaccessible, but it happens. With that said, it looks like social media platform X (formerly Twitter) is experiencing an outage at the moment, leaving users unable to access the website.
We've been able to confirm it on our end in multiple regions, and it looks like folks are chiming in on Downdetector as well. Naturally, we're not sure what's causing this, but it looks like the outage started around 4:18pm ET with just a few reports, and quickly gained momentum.

(23,049 posts)On the PRE-MUSK TWITTER, I had regular conversations with guys like David Crosby and Eric Carmen. They were both very active and would engage in conversations with people who commented.
I probably met about 1/3 of the artists I still play on my radio show on Twitter.
That all went away pretty quickly after Musk sank his talons into it.

(97,419 posts)There are a lot of people here that still use Twitter and some very high-profile Democrats like Obama, AOC, Biden etc that do as well. Your header is taking a broadbrush to anyone using Twitter. I know you did not mean to do that however that is how it comes across.
Me, I left twitter a few years ago and joined bsky.
