I fact checked Trump's claim that the U.S. is "the only country that does mail-in voting," so you don't have to.

Trump lies his ass off: "Can you imagine? We're the only country that doesn't do voter ID. Every country does voter ID. You know, it as brought to my attention today that we're the only country that does mail in voting."

"You know, it was brought to my attention today that we're the only country that does mail in voting."

He has made this statement many times before, so clearly the "it was brought to my attention today" is a lie. Either that or he's so far gone mentally that he doesn't remember he's said it before.

I work at an Ohio BOE as a trainer for PEO (Precinct Election Official) and VLM ( Voting Location Manager). While I can’t verify that this is standard across the country in Ohio you must show a valid ID to vote: Photo, Name, and not expired. We look at the back of every license to see if it notes “non-citizen.” If you in our registry we verify your signature and address. If we cannot confirm all of this information you have to vote a Provisional ballot. Those ballots are reviewed at the BOE by bi-partisan teams research. A Provisional ballot is not a guaranteed vote. Even if you have a non-citizen designation on your license but you are in our voter records it means you are now a citizen and are a registered voter. Our SOS is a POS, who turned over our voting data to head POS.

the first time we had a Presidential election in war time. The hundreds of thousands of soldiers were not overseas, of course, but were mostly out of state.
