Just when I thought I had seen and heard someone be so upset about something that happened?
I was a large well known truck stop outside of Los Angeles today. I was paying for a few things for lunch, when all the sudden, someone started to shouting profanity at a female cashier. It was because he had to pay $100.00 for gas for his car. Let me tell you, the language he used would embarrass a sailor!
He couldnt understand why gas was so high. This went on for about 10 minutes. The cashier asked him to quiet down and he screamed like a little kid who couldnt get what he wanted!
Here is where it really got pretty intense, but funny at the same time. The guy blurted out that this was Biden who cause the war and the high prices. He voice went up an octaves and then finally pay the money. This only after someone behind us the line shouted I guess thats why Trump started a war?, leaving the dumbass speechless. The dumbass said FU all and left the truck stop!
It absolutely astounding that they just dont see the hurt that Trump has caused them and they still believe only one thing? Trump!
The cashier was still shaking when I got to the counter. We all knew she was and told her she did the right thing by not escalating the situation. The guy behind us said those kind of people are why this country is in the state of chaos.
We knotted our heads in agreement.

I don't know, if the guy was already bouncing off the wall, not sure anyone could have done anything without some kind legal nightmare resulting.
Sometimes trying to deal with someone like that can make things worse.

(7,183 posts)I'm surprised there wasn't some security person she could have called upon.

(446 posts)Been in this situation before as some arrogant ass went off on a service person. Soon as it happened, I was in his face letting him know what an abusive SOB he was and take his shit elsewhere. The service personnel have no control over how things are regulated. I will not stand by and let people be abused verbally or physically
especially if its directed at a child. Havent gotten punched out yet

No discount on anything by engaging Tantrum Mode though.
Blaming Biden?
Just shows how out of touch this person is!
*Head nodding mode engaged!*

(3,908 posts)I won't stand by and watch a vulnerable person, like a person at work trying to do their job behind the cash register, be bullied or harassed. I will step in. That does not mean violence. It means stepping in between the bully and the person who is at risk.

(55,096 posts)regarding bullying. This is about how a hated filled, ignorant ass acts. He's not displaying bulling behavior, he IS displaying his own mental illness. Parents do not teach kids to be full blown asses, this is an adult who is pissed off at the world for any reason or no reason at all. He's a gigantic ass and loser, not a bully. I taught 1st graders for over 15 years and I am experienced in child behavior. My 6 years old students never acted like this due to poor parenting skills. Neither did the 6th graders I taught for a few years.

(22,560 posts)is to not even look at the guy, but to step up close to the cashier, and spoken directly to her, and not the guy.
I would have spoken up and said "You have no control over gas prices, and some people unfortunately do not realize that, and they take it out on you. Isn't that something? Someone yelling at you over something you have no control over? Ridiculous, isn't it"?
Again, not even looking at the guy, but addressing her in a non-escalatory manner which reassures her that someone has her back.
Hopefully, something like this would serve to embarrass the hell out of the guy, without actually confronting him directly.
