Trump is Sending ICE Agents to Airports to Profile & Intimidate Americans -- JoJoFromJerz

https://jojofromjerz.substack.com/p/trump-is-sending-ice-agents-to-airports

Today, Steve Bannon said the quiet part out loud: "We can use this, ICE helping at airports, as a test run, a test case, to really perfect ICE's involvement in the 2026 midterms."

Make no mistake, Trump and his allies are not sending ICE to airports to help expedite long lines. Nor is ICE present to relieve TSA agents, who are currently without pay. Trump is sending a message to Americans, one of total control and power. That he can do whatever he wants, whenever he wants, as he repeatedly asserts that he will send ICE to polling places ahead of the midterms, and that Republicans should "take over" election centers. Of course, this is all connected to FBI's raid of the Fulton County Elections Hub, where over 700 boxes of 2020 ballots were seized under the guise of "anomalies" and "fraudulent ballots."

As TSA agents go without pay, and airport lines spiral out of control, even Republican lawmakers are struggling to shift blame to Democrats while serving under a Republican controlled government. Earlier today, Republican Senator John Kennedy admitted that Trump is to blame for the TSA shutdown and subsequent long wait times, saying: "[Trump] said 'No deals with the Democrats.' We could have had TSA paid by the end of the week. But the President said 'No deal.'"

When authoritarians flood public places with their hyper-political, secret police force, that's never, ever a good sign. The Trump White House is attempting to normalize the presence of ICE agents in all our public spaces as an intimidation tactic. We must never accept this as normal.
