And I'm out of hospital and free?

I was told last week that I would be out of the rehab by 11am. At 1056, yes I checked, nurse came in sign here and here and here,, and I said, what am I signing? She said , standard stuff, this, from the same people who let me lie in bed for 20 hours when I broke my hip, gave me Tylenol and said control your. Breathing. Before I called ems.

I signed nothing she yelled, you're AMA!!
I said no I'm not you asked me to sign the medical advice, it exists, I just chose not to sign it, and I would like a copy of my records, as required by law.

Koz is free again. 3 months in a bed is a long time. I'm a lucky stroke victim, and now I'll fight harder for other victims

The belief (and reality) that people will just sign whatever is shoved under their pen hand without reading has gotten out of control.
I have been given things to sign recently without even being given a copy of what I am signing. No! Those documents are not signed by me.
Glad you are out, with your ability not to put up with BS intact.

Hospitals must all have personnel like that.

My wife was in a hospital once here in Germany, when a Polish nurse came in and told her to take some pills she had brought. My wife asked what the pills were for. The Polish nurse told her, "you don't need to know what the pills are for, you just need to take them." My wife did not take the pills, and told the Polish nurse not to come back until she had a plausible explanation what the pills were for. and whom they were for.

3 months ago seems like a long time ago. The outside world has changed. Those were the good old days and we weren’t at war yet. Prices were low compared to today.
