Give ICE a Break. They're Standing for America in Airports Now

Standing near the Burger King, because they might need to eat at any given time.
Standing outside the women's restrooms to make sure only real women go in.
Standing across from the TSA security checks. See, they're not allowed to go in there.
Standing at the counter in MacDonald's, trying to decide whether to try the new "Big Arch" or just stick with the Big Mac.
Standing and peering at travelers, paying special attention to those with brownish skin or unusual clothing.
Standing while Taking turns using the restrooms. Only ICE agent one is allowed in there at a time.
Standing proudly with knowing grins because they're getting paid, while the TSA people who actually doing something are not.
Standing near the doors in the baggage claim areas, taking their turns at a smoke break.

I predict that one of the newer undertrained or untrained agents leaves his loaded weapon or maybe a tear gas canister in one of the restrooms PAST the security checkpoint. It goes missing and the airport gets shut down in the ensuing emergency

cruelty. No masks, "helping" travelers -- what good folks are ICE officers.

And maybe it's an attempt to rescue ICE at any costs. What happened in Minnesota was a huge burn to ICE. They lost that battle very, very badly.

So, maybe they've been sent to the airports to try to recover somewhat. I'm not sure it's going to work. Millions of people are going to see a bunch of out of shape cops standing around in the airport not really accomplishing anything. Could be the death throes of ICE, it seems to me.
