Good report: Port Authority fire truck involved in LaGuardia plane collision did not have transponder
The U.S. National Transportation Safety Board provided more details Tuesday on the investigation into the deadly collision at LaGuardia Airport that killed two young pilots. The Port Authority fire truck involved in the crash did not have the transponder needed to trigger the warning system to traffic controllers.
