it is too late", when in the middle of the previous negotiations with Iran a few short weeks ago, it was trump who unilaterally broke off those negotiations, and started attacking Iran, which led to the situation that now exists?
Is it a surprise that the press today for the most part not only ignores that, but also completely ignores that the original Iran nuclear deal negotiated by the Obama administration, was unilaterally discarded by trump, when it could have been built upon?

(32,236 posts)2 things come to mind; The US has fired nearly 5 years worth of Tomahawk Cruise missiles, Iran has played rope a dope, firing older missiles that will get shot down, but the missiles that are used to shoot them down are being depleted.
Second, is Krasnov threatening to drop a nuke on Iran, or blow up nuclear power plants?
Whiskey Pete wants 200 billion more dollars for the war, but one doesn't just go to the local armory and pick up a Cruise missile, it takes time to build them and China can control the rare earth minerals to build them.
The longer the war goes on the worse it is for Krasnov, he is running out of missiles, he will be left with conventional older style bombs.
WW III crossed my mind. Iran can't put a nuclear bomb on a rocket and deliver it, but it can make several dirty bombs.
Krasnov should declare victory and pull out now, "before it's too late."
