The U.S. had approximately 150,000 troops in Kuwait and surrounding areas. So, with this incompetent administration we're expected to believe that rushing Marines and the 82nd Airborne in the 4th week was the plan all the time. It just seems like panic time. Especially with Trump begging Iran to get serious, when in fact they are the only ones that seem to be very serious. Trump, Hegseth and other top officials look like they are in way over their head and they're embarrassing the U.S. on the world stage.

1. Bush II took over a year to prepare for the invasion of Iraq,

which gave him plenty of time to get the troops together and drum up public support by lying about WMDs and yellowcake and all that bullshit. And even after all that planning it took more than 8 years to lose the damn war. At least Trump might be able to lose faster by not preparing in the first place.
