It didn't originate with Robert Reich. I don't see any original attribution anywhere.

7. Reich has posted it more than once, and I saw a post on Threads months ago attributing it to him,

though that might just have been to one of his other posts about it, besides today's. I didn't see anyone else posting it more than once, or anyone else being referred to as the source.

I saw some British posts using it, but the spelling on the graphic is American.

The reference to this being the GOP's plan for 50 years appears to be Reich's and he'd used it when posting that graphic earlier. I didn't notice any of the other social media posts with the graphic referring to 50 years.

20 minutes before your post, and your thread title is similar to some of Reich's wording. If it had been posted earlier on another platform by someone else, I'd like to know so I can correct my post. It's best to give credit where credit is due, and I've been assuming Reich had someone create that image for him, for something he wrote or a video he posted. But if I was wrong about that, I'd like to know.
