US has no interest in Justice

The US, Israel and Argentina were the only three countries to vote against a UN General Assembly resolution against the Black slave trade.
EU nations, collectively, abstained.

It's no surprise that the very nations that received the greatest benefits from enslavement of Black Africans are also the same nations refusing to offer more than flowery speeches. Nations that grew into some of the most powerful nations in the history of the planet, nations that for hundreds of years tortured, raped and murdered innocent human beings, 20 million dead and millions more mutilated, in the Congo alone, all seem to have no interest now in more than offering more than flowery speeches about how bad slavery was:

While the United States opposes the past wrongdoing of the transatlantic slave trade and all other forms of slavery, it “does not recognize a legal right to reparations for historical wrongs that were not illegal under international law at the time they occurred,” deputy U.S. ambassador Dan Negrea said before the vote.

We live in a sick and depraved world that values wealth and whiteness more than actual human beings. That would rather do nothing than protect children raped and beaten by billionaires.
