Platner's comments were not ok and I find it offensive that anyone would say that calling out his own words is a smear, an attack or a negative campaign ad. He made those comments. His comments are what I consider an attack, a smear and a huge negative.

Most Mainers, like most people everywhere, don't pay close attention to primaries until they get close.

Mainers know who Janet Mills is. Platner, probably not so much. And when they do find out about him ......

I know that I am seeing rejection of him from the left, the center and the right among people who closely follow politics.
