Beth Sanner, CNN National Security Analyst, breaks it down in the most simple terms

Paraphrasing that we are currently imposing an April 6 deadline to achieve something that was not a problem before trump started the war. Opening the strait is only necessary because he broke it.

Basically, we are paying more for gas, Americans have died, and we are going to have to spend billions more just to get back to where we were 3 weeks ago. Even maga should be able to understand that.

I've been feeling this for several days now, and I'm glad an "expert" agrees with me. But really, it's just common sense.

Just my personal preference. I remember training myself as a young teacher to avoid using profanity even in my personal life because I was afraid it would pop out in a stressful classroom situation. Now it's just a habit.

Trump thinks can steal Iran's oil and get a cut of all oil and gas traversing Hormuz Strait.

According to the NY Times and other sources our military bases in Arab USA-aligned nations (Kuwait, UAE, Saudi Arabia, etc have damage limiting their use. Rather than being protected, the Arab states hosting UAS military have been attacked.

Much of the World is POed at the USA for our military foolishness and the impact on their economies and the likelihood of being drawn into a expanded and continuous war. I cannot foresee our return to the level of dominance once enjoyed not so long ago despite earlier mistakes (Iraq).
