We are in serious trouble. Iran's Foreign Minister has made it clear that they will not negotiate or concede in any way and have all but dared the US to invade:

Iran's foreign minister says the country is not currently negotiating with the US to end the war and "does not intend" to do so.

Both sides have issued terms but both have issued conditions they know the other side will never agree.
On the prospect of the US sending in ground troops, Iran has stated:

Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi, speaking with NBC Nightly News anchor Tom Llamas from Tehran, didn't mince words when asked about American troops entering Iran. "No, we are waiting for them," he said. "Because we are confident that we can confront them, and that would be a big disaster for them."

This is a conflict of choice and we do not need to be there. We need to fuck off and leave Israel to the mess they created.

We need to steel our spines from here on out because this is about to get very real, very fast.

I'm not going to speculate on how bad because that is pointless now. It is what it is and all we can do is face it head on and figure it out as we go.

Just be cognizant that it will be bad and just keep moving forward and we will, eventually, make it to the other side. One step at a time
