South Africa disinvited to the G7 in France because
of Trump. The South African Ambassador to the US at the start of 2025, was the only foreigner I saw stand up for Canada after Trumps threat to annex it. He was soon sent home. South Africans know the dark underbelly of America because of the US dragging its feet on getting rid of Apartheid.
"We are told that the Americans threatened to boycott the G7 if South Africa was invited," said Vincent Magwenya.
