Want To Know What Magazine Has Gone Full Bore Magat

Newsweek;

I don't click on the articles, I just see the headlines, it spews horrible right wing propaganda. It always was to the right but it is way worse now.

That the billionaire right wing class is just buying up the media to control the narrative because there can’t be this much demand for right wing content. I mean how many of things have swung to the right in the past decade vs to the left?

Taking over AM radio with people like rush limbaugh was their first major propaganda success then they moved on to other parts of the media.

By now it's obvious, with billionaires having zero experience in journalism taking over all kinds of major media outlets.

The National and Local main stream media of all types are 95% owned/operated by Uber Rich Republicans, or Republican Owned Corporations........

First thing Hitler did was to take control of the entire German Media............

I am just waiting for the Republicans to take over Fox News, and make them THE state owned/operated news....no different than PRAVDA in Russia.........

Seems to me I heard that for the past 25+ years that FOX has been the ONLY news on the Armed Forces Network???????????????
And recently didn't they try to take over Radio Free America or what ever it is called/??????????????

Real people are concerned about democracy, law enforcement actually playing by legitimate rules, government free of corruption, respect for the rule of law, stable regulatory environment, a government that doesn't operate on bribes and payback, a justice department that doesn't enforce petty vengeances, etc.

Everyone I know in *business* outside of a few right-wing sole proprietorships is aghast at the instability and uncertainty in today's business environment. Impossible to plan when you never know who's going to just hit with a tariff or a trump lawsuit/shakedown.

Usually there's a pretty strong Republican voice in the corporate world but not these days. Fine, maybe the boardroom is happy enough, but the rest of the company is pulling their hair out daily.

Gas and egg prices are what the trumpies figure is the only thing that could actually hurt them, though, because magats don't care about all the things I mentioned above. But they do care about their own wallet....

To keep them from concluding that the progressives are telling the truth and keep them thinking that there is still time to wait for the situation to stabilize.

Newsweek was to the left of Time magazine, but they have shifted into MAGA land now. Sad because I started reading them in the late 70’s, and still miss the old Newsweek.

Newsmaxweek has gone through a bunch of owners, and actually ceased publication for a couple of years. Should have stayed dead.
