(10,290 posts)I think that was a non-injury crash but his kid(s) may have been with him. Divorced shortly after?
The guy is a a menace.

(16,830 posts)He was pissed off and on pain drugs while driving like a maniac. If this is his fault again its time he learns a lesson and consider others. And yes, Im assuming its his fault because Im petty like that.

(24,929 posts)They also used the word "involved" in a rollover crash. They said that neither his manage nor law enforcement returned their request for more information.

(34,232 posts)Since he has previous injuries, any accident will probably exacerbate them.
Apparently, he had to crawl out of the passenger side. It looks like he wasn't driving all that fast. Driving impaired however.

MARTIN COUNTY, Fla. Golfing legend Tiger Woods was arrested on suspicion of DUI after a rollover crash on Jupiter Island just after 2 p.m. Friday, deputies said.
The Martin County Sheriff's Office said the crash occurred near 281 Beach Road, which is near his home.

(34,232 posts)The truck was pulling a pressure cleaner.
I heard the police say he was trying to pass another vehicle on a two lane road (which had double yellow lines-no passing) and was speeding.

(34,232 posts)Maybe the truck was trying to get out of the way of the Range Rover

(76,653 posts)Nobody got hurt, thankfully.
But, he seems to be in self-destruct mode.
If he was going to drink, why not hire a driver? He's a billionaire for goodness sake.
My favorite golfer ever, but he's making it hard to root for him.

Stop with the ego and bs. Hire a driver.
DET
(2,494 posts)No alcohol was detected during the breathalyzer test (or whatever they use). But they asked for a urine sample at the station since the officers suspected he was impaired. Woods refused. Testing following his previous rollover apparently showed he had a pharmacy of drugs in him.
I didnt know you could refuse to be tested. It would seem to be hard to prove impairment without physical evidence. So who knows where this will go.
LeftInTX
(34,232 posts)I know he took a breathalyzer, but in Texas if you refuse a breathalyzer, you could be hauled off to jail and then you're forced. I would assume the same applies to other tests. Since Woods was arrested, I assume he will be booked and tested.
The advantage of refusing a test, is that it delays the testing results, which can lower the amt in your system.

(77,283 posts)If he wants to kill himself because of the screaming devils in his brain oh well.
As long as he doesnt hurt or kill others fine by me.
I have friends who dealt with Mr. Woods when he was in Columbus OH for a golf
tournament years ago
before his wife put an 8 iron through his rear window
and
the stories were not pretty.
