Trump plays Texas hold 'em (trump may not endorse Cornyn or Paxton before runoff)

Paxton is running ads in Mar-a-Lago and really wants trump's endorsement. trump needs Cornyn's vote in the voter suppression bill fight. It seems that trump is NOT going to endorse either Cornyn or Paxton which means that a ton of money is going to be used up in this runoff and there will be some fun negative ads that will help Talarico. trump not endorsing Cornyn is being viewed as a victory for Paxton and the MAGA assholes

If Cornyn loses due to a lack of a trump endorsement, Cornyn will be a free agent and does not have to blindly follow trump's orders.

The bad news is that I am going to see a ton of negative ads on TV until the runoff is over.
