Post-No Kings: Have any foreign governments or individuals commented on the protests? Do they know we're not Trumpsters?

I would just like to remind them that not only do not all Americans support Trump, most of us despise him.

1. They can see the protests on their own soil.

They may be uneasy with the protests, because fascism and authoritarianism are just more extreme forms of governmental control.

It's too early to tell, but the time may come when these protests compare to some degree to the Revolutions of 1848. Kings and governments have fallen in many European countries over several centuries. Those in power don't want too much democracy.

on multiple occasions.
Not exactly sure what that says about 'degrees' of democracy (and desirability of such) - but it is an undeniable fact. (and sometimes keeps me up at night)

And - while Modi does not have the absolute nadir (clownish incompetence) and overall knee buckling stench of the Donald ...
I'm not sure if he wins rousing endorsement (in these eyes at least) as democratic ideal either ....

There are nine monarchies in Europe, all of which are constitutional monarchies in which the monarch has very little actual power. Actually using No Kings terminology would probably be seen as inappropriate since most of these countries regard their kings and queens as mascots or national symbols and don't hate them.

12. There are 12 sovereign states in Europe that have monarchies: Andorra, Belgium, Denmark, Liechtenstein, Luxembourg,

Monaco, the Netherlands, Norway, Spain, Sweden, the United Kingdom, and Vatican City.

Most are constitutional monarchies with ceremonial heads of state, whilst Andorra, Liechtenstein, and Monaco are principalities and the Vatican is an absolute elective monarchy.

The co-princes of Andorra are jointly the heads of state. The co-princes are the bishop of Urgell and the president of France.

And for those who do engage in policy, they are not unchecked so monarchy in name only.
