Trump officials cite white supremacists in bid to end birthright citizenship
But - we're talking today's Republican Party. Reminding me of this quote:

"If a Republican President is incapable of condemning white supremacists, then "The Party of Lincoln" has expired." - Tom Ridge, G.W. Bush's former Secretary of Homeland Security.

And with that, we lay to rest the mortal remains of the "Party of Lincoln." And you're a bit late, Tommy. The GOP became "The Party of John Calhoun" long, long ago.
