I had to teach my parents how to get their VCR to stop blinking '12:00' all day long!

I would have to sneak into town, because if the tow learned that I was around, I would be getting call after call about VCRs... mostly to stop the clock from blinking.
I would show them what to do, but most would just stare at me with a blank expression, and then call me again, once I returned to town to visit.
