Trump address was empty bullshit

I told my family and friends here in the Philippines that the Trump speech would either call for an invasion of Iran or a withdrawal, both which could lead to the opening the State of Hormuz and give us some relief during the Philippine fuel crisis. I came to this conclusion because if the price of gasoline at the pump in the US is above $4.10 and continues to climb, the Republicans (and Trump) are fucked in the midterms.

Instead, Trump rehashed his social media bullshit of how the US has devasted the Iranian conventional military. But no exit strategy, except some nebulous 2-to-3-week time frame. The same two weeks Trump has been touting for every major issue for 10 years.

By now, I should have known better.
