Bondi "reportedly" dumped by Trump because he believed she "tipped off Eric Swalwell about the FBI's efforts"

Attorney General Pam Bondi's ousting was reportedly spurred by President Donald Trump's suspicion that she went behind his back to tell his enemy that a potentially damaging FBI investigation was coming.

Trump spoke with Bondi just before his Iran speech on Wednesday night, letting her know she would be removed from the job, Phillip Nieto, political reporter for The Daily Mail, wrote on X.

"Trump's reasoning for the sudden dismissal comes in part because the President believes Bondi tipped off Eric Swalwell about the FBI’s efforts to release investigative documents related to his relationship with Christine Fang," Nieto wrote.

She was known to call reporters crying if bad stories were written about her.

That she compromised herself while AG here in Florida and he knew she would bend over backwards because of it. He certainly gave her a bunch of money after she refused to have Florida sign on to the "Trump U" fraud lawsuit. She's a real piece of work.

But she does have a certain amount of protection now, because she knows where many of the skeletons are buried. She could decide to speak out and still be relatively safe. It all really depends on how quickly Trump's grip on power is sliding away. She could actually find herself at the head of the next parade.

I think Donny concluded that she’s not ruthless enough to execute his DOJ led election interference scheme this fall.

Bondi "leaked" taking up the investigation again?
Much as I view her as a incompetently corrupt and otherwise devoid of any of the requirements for a crossing guard, let alone any position at the DoJ, just because it's in her slam book doesn't mean she is going to revisit anything against him.

(psych!) Of course she's going to go after evidence that isn't there against him, just as she would against any Democrat.
After all, it's in her slam book. She might as well put up one of those black conference marquee posts with the white vinyl letters next to the entrance of the House chambers "This Month's DOJ Investigation - E. Swallwell, D-CA 14"
