1. Expense

I know many senior citizens who never bought the newfangled drivers licenses needed for flying, due to extra hoops and expense. Will these be required under the proposed law? Passports are expensive, as well.

2. I don't know if those are even acceptable forms of ID with the SAVE Act. Really!

6. There are only 5 states that have IDs

That would be acceptable under the SAVE act. Minnesota is one of them - I don't recall the other four. In Minnesota it's the "Enhanced ID" and to get one you need to provide the same documents as you would for a passport. When I needed to renew my DL a few years ago I opted to spend the extra bucks to get one. It took a while to get the ducks lined up. My job at the time allowed me the flexibility to take the time I needed to get it done (I'm certain most people don't have that flexibility).
